> Connect a patient to your clinic and understand when clinical information becomes visible.

## Invite a patient

1. Open Patients and choose Invite patient.
2. Enter the patient’s email carefully and send the invitation.
3. Ask the patient to open the invitation, sign in to the PeptIQ app, and review the clinic connection.
4. Track the roster status until the link becomes active.

> **Identity check**
> Confirm the email through your clinic’s approved identity process before sending. A mistyped address can expose the existence of a clinic relationship.

## Understand consent scopes

Patient consent is granular. Current scopes cover injections, labs, protocols, vitals, and read/write messaging. The console must continue to respect revoked, expired, or absent consent.

- A clinic link and clinical-data consent are related but distinct.
- Assignments can be prepared while analytics remain unavailable; the chart explains when consent is required.
- If a patient revokes consent, previously available clinical panels may become restricted.

## Resolve missing clinical data

1. Confirm the patient link is active for the current clinic.
2. Check whether the relevant consent scope is granted and not expired or revoked.
3. Ask the patient to refresh or reopen the patient app after changing consent.
4. Refresh the patient chart. Do not work around a consent restriction by copying data into an unrelated field.
